1. Opening of Bank Account
We are planning to open a corporate account for the batch (MNHS Batch 92 Account), however, we are anticipating the opening of such account would need about P10,000.00 initial deposit. It is recommended therefore that for the meantime we (through Gemma & Juan) open a joint account and then eventually open the corporate account for the batch. We are able to raise P5,000.00 during the meeting, courtesy of a generous batchmate, which we can use as initial deposit to open the account. We would probably open the account at PNB or Landbank, whichever requires a lower initial deposit. We will be opening the account on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Account number will eventually be posted here.

2. Proposed Medical Mission/Reach-Out Program
Since there is a proposal that we conduct a Medical Mission and/or Reach-Out Program, it is requested that Dr. Ariel de Luna (the proponent) and other Doctors of the batch coordinate with us so we could at once make the necessary coordination with concerned agencies, if necessary. There is also a suggestion that instead of reaching out to other people, it is recommended that we extend assistance to less fortunate batchmates. Nominations or identification of beneficiaries will be appreciated and Gemma, as she is NSO, would do the verification of the socio-economic status of those who will be identified beneficiaries. There is a suggestion that a mini-negosyo package be given (it can probably be at least P5,000.00 worth of goods and merchandise which the beneficiary can use to start a livelihood). The granting will be done during the exclusive batch reunion on the 3rd day of the event. Beneficiary will not be revealed until its announcement during the reunion.

3. 1st Day Activity (May 25, 2012)
If the Medical Mission will be pursued, it is suggested to be done during this day. There would a grand ball night during this day we left it to individual discretion if we will attend this event or not.

4. 2nd Day Activity (May 26, 2012)
We encourage everyone to please attend this event since it is the main activity day wherein the formal program will be held. It is also during this day that the alumni would need our assistance as one of the co-host of the event. The group has considered the proposal of having a Fun Run instead of the usual parade. There is a suggestion that we just avail of a catered food for the day since we would be all busy during the day, however, personal sharing of side dishes, “pika-pika,” native delicacies and others is encouraged and will be greatly appreciated. Expenses for the foods and drinks will be charged to our funds if we were able to raise adequate funds that would support all our plans, programs and activities.

5. 3rd Day Activity (May 27, 2012)
We will be having our exclusive batch reunion during this day. The suggested venue could be in any of the following: Eastpoint Resort (Balaring), Fergus Resort (Cawit) or Tahanan sa Isok (poolside). Beneficiary/ies of the proposed reach-out program will be revealed and granted during the day. Part of the reach-out progam would be the granting of groceries or school supplies to some identified families of our batchmates. Raffle of prizes will also be done and we are appealing to the generosity of our batchmates who are willing to donate prizes for the raffle. Parlor games, socialization, joy and merriment will surely be flourishing during the day. We are anticipating that there would be no dull moments. There is a suggestion that one of the parlor games would be the “agawan ng biik” (at least two) for these would be a help to our batchmates to start a backyard livelihood. Other suggestions from you would be highly appreciated.

6. Theme, Logo, Tshirt Design, Souvenir, etc.
There is no theme yet that was conceptualized during the meeting, we are opening it for suggestions from you. There is also no final logo yet, since we are still awaiting for the one that is being designed by Narciso “Nilcid” Garcia. Although the one that I made (which is presented in facebook), is being considered as one of the choices. As to the souvenir, we are turning it to the discretion of those who are in manila, as well as the printing of t-shirt, it is because it would cost less if we are to procure these things in Divisoria. There is also a suggestion that we have a sun visor cap that will match our t-shirts.

7. Other Matters
It is agreed that a meeting be held every quarter prior to the actual holding of our reunion. The next meeting is scheduled on September 11, 2011 at Casa de Don Emilio (atop Kusina sa Plaza) at 10 o’clock in the morning. It will be followed by a meeting on November 2, 2011 so that those who will be coming home for the All Saints Day might able to attend the meeting.
